EGM Cancelled

The EGM which had been scheduled to be held at Cottingham Parks at 18.00hrs – on Wednesday evening of 15th May, 2024 – has now been cancelled. Originally, it was planned to hold the meeting in relation to updating our constitution.

This will now be forwarded to the AGM – giving us more time to make some further edits, which can be agreed upon by the committee – prior to being publicised to all, for consideration by the membership, before being presented at the meeting.

The proposal will then be, for the membership to endorse the updated constitution, by way of a vote. Another consideration for delaying the proposal for the AGM, was due to it being more likely that the AGM will be better attended, and therefore be a fairer representation of the membership.
